Terms and Conditions for Matnik Wellness Therapy & Beauty Spa

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of wellness and beauty services rendered by Matnik Wellness Therapy & Beauty Spa ("the Spa"), located in Vanier-Ottawa, to you, the Client. By booking an appointment or utilizing any service provided by the Spa, you agree to be legally bound by these terms as detailed herein.

2. Services

The Spa offers various wellness and beauty treatments, including but not limited to advanced skincare, facials, laser hair removal, and massages. Each service is performed according to the latest industry standards and tailored to the individual needs of each client.

3. Booking and Cancellations

3.1 Appointments must be booked in advance through our official communication channels. A booking confirmation will be provided specifying the date, time, and details of the service.

3.2 Clients may cancel or reschedule an appointment by notifying the Spa at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost.

4. Fees and Payments

4.1 All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but such changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.

4.2 Payment is due at the time of service. The Spa accepts major credit cards, debit cards, and cash.

5. Client Responsibilities

5.1 Clients are expected to arrive on time for their appointments. Late arrivals may result in shortened treatment time or rescheduling, potentially incurring additional fees.

5.2 Clients must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or other health-related concerns that may affect their treatment prior to commencement.

6. Spa Policies

6.1 The Spa is committed to providing a tranquil and stress-free environment. Clients are asked to maintain a quiet demeanor and respect the privacy and relaxation of others.

6.2 The use of mobile phones or other disruptive devices is restricted within the treatment areas.

7. Privacy and Confidentiality

7.1 Personal information collected from clients is handled with the utmost confidentiality and in compliance with applicable privacy laws. Such information will only be used to enhance service provision and will not be shared with third parties without the client's explicit consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 The Spa shall not be liable for any personal injury or damage to personal property, except where such injury or damage is due to the negligence or willful misconduct of the Spa or its employees.

8.2 Clients partaking in treatment services at the Spa do so at their own risk and are advised to follow all instructions and guidance provided by Spa personnel.

9. Intellectual Property

All content and materials available at the Spa, including treatment methods and advertising, are the intellectual property of MatnikWellness Therapy & Beauty Spa and are protected by copyright laws.

10. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

The Spa reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. All amendments will be posted on the Spa’s official website and will be effective immediately upon posting.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
